OLAU HOLLANDIA In 1989, the "Olau Hollandia", together with her sister ship "Olau Britannia", took over from her predecessor ferry which operates in the North Sea between Vlissingen and Sheerness. As the ferry is 29 m in width compared to the old ship, an additional lorry lane is available. This takes into account the wider lane for the new Euro width of 2,60 m for lorries.

The passenger area is distinguished by its high standards. Some of its most unusual features are the gastronomy facilities, the shopping possibilities and the conference room. As straight corridors have mostly been avoided, the passengers have the impression that they are on a cruise liner. The high-quality interior furnishings strengthen this impression. Generous foyers and stairways, shopping centres, restaurants, discotheques, casino, swimming pool etc. complete the picture.
